Vim and Neovim Community Guide
Vim and Neovim are open-source, terminal-based text editors. Vim style editors use the keyboard for editing and there is usually a (fun) learning curve to it.
Some of Vim/Neovim's selling points
- customizable
- faster than GUI text-editors
- plugin ecosystem (Neovim)
- exists in the terminal (nice if you're already in the terminal a lot)
- is fun and feels good
